The Narmarian Trap: Why Humanity is Stuck at Type 0

A Dialogue on Grace, Systemic Violence, and the 5,000-Year Cycle of "F* You" Realities

1. The Literary Mirror: Copperfield and Valjean

This discussion begins with a look at two pillars of 19th-century literature: Charles Dickens’s David Copperfield and Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables. On the surface, these are stories of personal struggle. At their root, they are critiques of a "harsh, rude, and violent" system.

"People turn quite harsh, rude, and violent because the system is geared to be harsh, rude, and violent."

In both novels, the "System" (represented by the cold Mr. Murdstone or the rigid Inspector Javert) functions as a violence factory. It treats humans as gears in a machine. When the system is "Marmorean" (cold as marble) and unyielding, the individuals within it either become victims or adopt the system's cruelty to survive. This is the "Dog-Eat-Dog" reality that has dominated human interaction since the dawn of recorded history.

2. The Narmarian Ecosystem (Post-3100 BCE)

The dialogue identifies this systemic rot as the "Narmarian" reality—referencing Narmer, the first unifier of Egypt around 3100 BCE. This era marked the birth of the centralized, hierarchical state. Since this "Narmarian" blueprint was laid down, humanity has been locked in a cycle of top-down dominance and "f* you" attitudes.

  • Artificial Scarcity: Hierarchies create a ladder where one must climb over another.
  • The High Priests of Karnak: The concept that "Titans" (leaders) are often just steering the ship as commanded by ancient, invisible scripts of power and control.
  • The Living Room War Room: The realization that the "f* you" mindset isn't just in the palace; it’s in the living room conversations of ordinary couples who choose tribalism over empathy.

3. The Kardashev Scale and the Great Filter

Why aren't we a Type 1 Civilization (harnessing planetary energy) or Type 2 (harnessing our star)? The answer isn't technical; it's psychological. The Universe appears to have a built-in control system.

As long as a species is "internally wicked" and driven by the Mammalian Impulse (selfish greed, fear, envy, and immediate aggression), it is denied access to higher energy levels.

A "Type 1/ Type 2" species with a "Narmarian" mindset would simply destroy the galaxy. Thus, we are stuck in our cradle—a Type 0 civilization—until we can achieve Collective De-escalation.

(Collective means : Everyone needs to get involved in the De-escalation. Not just the "good guys" and the "bad guys", but all... All as a collective of humanity.)

4. The Symmetrical Failure of Grace

To dismantle this cycle, both the "oppressed" and the "oppressors" must play their roles of Grace.

  • If David Copperfield or Jean Valjean play the "demon" to survive, we end up at the Animal Farm fiasco (changing the driver but keeping the violent machine).
  • If the Murdstones and Javerts refuse to de-escalate, the system remains rigid and deadly.

The tragedy is that the "Titans and their Followers" are currently choosing escalation. The mammalian addiction to the adrenaline of conflict is stronger than the human capacity for restraint and wisdom.

5. Conclusion: The Observer’s Choice

As it is (since 3100 bce), the "Narmarian" mindset has a clear lead. We are a species addicted to the drama of the "f* you" reality.

We blame the Caesars/Kaisers, the  Hitlers and the Napoleons, yet we forget the millions who "hail" them and the millions more who utter "f* you" to their neighbors in private.

Is there a way out?

Only if a "Common Conscience" arises that recognizes the "f* you" mindset as a suicide pact.

Until then, the only revolutionary act is to be a "David" or a "Valjean" in one's own life—refusing to be the fuel for the Narmarian fire.

Shared as an honest inquiry into the roots of human conflict and the barriers to our civilizational evolution.
